We're adding the Comodo antivirus scanner to the list of engines used at VirusTotal. This company is probably more known because being a quite important Certification Authority and for their personal firewall.

Could you modify your file submission script so that first an MD5/SHA-1 is generated and submitted for a hash search? I think you'll find most of your traffic is clean and this could reduce the workload on your servers dramatically - the hashes are supposed to be cryptographically secure and so cannot be forged.
Right now I am using:
http://beeblebrox.org/hashtab/ in combination with your hash search function - to reduce waits on download times on what I am sure are mostly clean files.
Virustotal should send the undetect malware or other susend files to comodo too.
Because Comodo have a few dection, and needed to improve.
I wish this will help Comodo for better detection.
