no more signatures for this one
[News]
We've disabled the InoculateIT engine in the service as CA has stopped providing signature updates for it.

Re: Virustotal -= eTrust-InoculateIT

Looks like CA has some problems with its antivirus products. ZoneAlarm earlier dropped the CA Vet engine as the antivirus companion to its firewall and replaced it with Kaspersky. Vet was a good product when it was owned by original developer in Melbourne, Australia. Looks like CA didn't keep the product up when they bought the company. It took them about four years to run it into the ground.

I'm expecting the open source antivirus ClamWin to be a good replacement for the original common sense Vet when Version 1.0 is released later this year.

Re: Virustotal -= eTrust-InoculateIT

Hola,

pestpatrol is junk, not worth using anywhere.

Where did you get the information that there are no more updates for InoculateIT?
There is no mention of that on their web page and there were new signatures as of May 3 2007.
